My 'new' 1997 Four Winns. Grabbed a few pics yesterday at the marina where she's being hauled and stored for the winter. Linda and I went down to empty it out and poke around. Amazing amount of storage and 'knocking around' space compared to the 24' Chris*Craft. We can't wait for Spring! :)

That was a requirement from the time we started shopping. Four Winns is also one of the few (Searay is another) that put a 'diner booth' style dinette in that size and vintage of boat. Others use a lounge seat (couch) w/break down table. Lin and I prefer ours.

On the other hand, the '95 Larson and '93 Carver 280's I looked at had more room in the head, which is also nice. They're all a compromise, and the 4Winns had the best combination of price, condition, mechanicals and utility of the boats I looked at. The cabin looks good,too- nice color scheme and a little teak trim to dress it up.

I really need to stop upsizing for awhile, tho. This Spring I'll start my 4th boating season, with my 3rd boat. D'oh! :)

Me too!
Only 1 season in, but I bought two boats! One in May, the other in September

I looked at a few Four Winns and admired them all summer. They're just plain beautiful where mine is kinda clunky.

GOOD LUCK with it!!

Hey, you have a nice boat! It's supposed to be clunky, that's a traditional cabin cruiser design. I really like the 2452's and nearly bought one a couple seasons back (that particular one had some issues, tho). A LOT of room for a 24'. I had to go to 27' and a 9.5' beam to get accommodations similar to yours. I think you'll enjoy it.

I see where your coming from, mines got the booth style dinette and it's very very nice. Spend more time there after dark then anywhere else!
