http:// This is a picture of my new(to me) 1987 Rinker V-180, it has a OMC 4.3 V-6 (GM)with the cobra outdrive. its in really good shape & it runs perfect(new cables all around) paid $3000 for it. put $1200 into tune up and all new cables (upper & lower & throttle)& oil & gear lube change. What do ya think??

Thanks, I really like this boat, its my 5th. first one was a 10ft valco aluminum with a 3 hp sears motor. This boat has very low hours, engine looks new, outdrive works perfect, i got lucky that i bought it from the original owner & he was very picky. the original shift cables were on it when i got it but they still worked(for a while), i had new (red) cables installed before any damage was done to the outdrive. plus new impeller. it runs at WOT @ 4200-4400 rpms aproxx 40 - 45 mph. temp stays between 160 & 180. jumps right out of the hole too. i dont leave it WOT very long as its 20 years old, it cruises great @ 3500 rpms. i will be at the lake first thing in the morning..

Good lookin' boat.

I do agree however, that this should not be in a technical forum. Perhaps one of the "General Boating/Outdoors Activities" forums would be a better home.
