For a couple days now any image link to fishingworks hasn't worked. Anyone else having this happen?

Re: picture links

I thought I was annoying people with my big red boat picture,(in my signature) so when it turned into a red X I figured I would take it off... Never stopped to think what might be causing it to cease working, but anyway, yeah me too!
Craig

Re: picture links

I contacted fishing works and this is the response I got back from them. Read on.

"Many of you have noticed that photos contained in your FishingWorks

Photo Album no longer can be posted to other URLs. We were forced to

take this action because the popularity of posting photos to message

boards and other sites has caused the amount of bandwidth we consume

to skyrocket to the point of unaffordability. By disabling this one

function on our website, we returned our bandwidth use to a more

reasonable level.

The good news is that, within a month or so, we will be offering at a

nominal cost a "FishingWorks Premium Membership" that will restore

your ability to post photos to other sites, and will also adds some

other new or enhanced website features available only to premium

subscribers. By charging a small amount to our heavier users, we will

be able to continue to offer a first-class, and speedy, website that

will continue to evolve for the benefit of its members. We'll have

more information to you shortly; until then, we ask for your patience

and understanding. We are gratified by the positive response to and

growth of FishingWorks, and we hope you will remain a member for a

long time to come."

Dan Auriti

President, Fishingworks.com

Dauriti@FishingWorks.com
