Re: picture ?

You'll need to upload your picture(s) to your own web space or one of those picture sites so that you can access the photo via a URL. The picture should be displayed in a page by itself rather than as part of a layout or larger page with ads and such.

Once you've done that you just need to click the IMAGE button on the bottom right of the "Post A Reply" screen. It'll ask you for the URL of your picture. Enter that URL and all should be OK....

Click "Preview Post" before posting and check to make sure that your picture shows up. If it doesn't, check to make sure that you've entered the URL correctly. A capital letter where it doesn't belong can often mess you up here. Cutting and pasting works best here.

Good Luck :)

Re: picture ?

OK toomanyboats, find you a website that will host your pictures for you, most of the time your isp provider will have webspace available for that.

Now, once you have your picture loaded to that website, click on it to bring it up in it's own window.

Now in the browser window, there will be a website address,(url).

Copy that and then come back and do as snailman says.
This where I do mine and it works good.
http://angelfire.lycos.com
Once there click webshell on left sidebar and it will walk you through it.
Real simple.

Re: picture ?

Alright, I have a question please.

My IP's home page says; "5 MB of disk space for storage or a personal website, available on request"
Can this be used to keep pictures to use here?

Re: picture ?

One more thing I want to add.

toomanyboats, if you right click a picture that you see here or on the wwww and then click properties, you will see the thing that is called address(URL) and you will see what we are talking about.

That is what you want CC&P(cut, copy and paste) after you hit the image radio button as snailman described.

Something not right with the url, or the picture is no longer available there.
