You're just begging for trouble strapping that much junk behind a small pickup. Legal or not it just wouldn't be smart. Go with camper installed in the bed leave the tandems to the big rig world.

roozterdvx, I wish I had the money to get a boat that I could sleep on. kind of hard to do with an 18ft jet boat. Between being an pilot (airplane) and a boat owner, i really have no use for land. I have decided to go with the truck camper. now I just have to find one.

It would be a heck of a lot cheaper AND wiser to teach your wife how to tow a trailer, and have her follow you in the minivan or whatever. :) Sorry, but I think the only people who should be allowed to tow 2 trailers are people with a CDL license.

I have to agree totally with that statment. With that said, with the proper equipment and driving skills I don't see a problem with towing double or even triple trailer sets. I do it all the time just don't get in a hurry SPEED KILLS.
