whats is this pin hole for on the lower unit above the prop? air?? old unburned oil an gas??

Thinking it's drain hole.

Thinking water, but i've seen unburnt oil come out of my motors as well.

ok so water or unburned oil coming out a lil is really not a problem? my 57 7.5 has the same pin hole. so i kno its supposed to be there.

Nope, all part of the drainage once it comes out of the water.

I had a '61 and it always did fine on standard 80w-90 marine gear lube.
