got a couple of 9.5s and most pinion gears are pretty worn and will likely slip soon. I plan to sell a few and would not want the new owners to feel stiffed

I see these gears come with 2 mounting bolts instad of a split pin... Is this the new norm ... do they now mount with 2 bolts to hold them is place and if so I guess one must tap the existing pinion shaft with the proper threads ??

Interesting. I've never seen one mounted with screws instead of the split pin. But who knows?

F.R. I actually resorted to using a small bolt after messing up a split pin... & it worked fine but I did not know they stole my invention :)

$67$ inlc taxes :-( :-( here in Canada !!!

update... read the paper work in the box... yesterday

bolts in the box ARE NOT meant to replace the split pin

they are to replace 2 bolts on the mounting bracket

Would be interested in buying one of the pinion gears from you if you still have one for sale. ernbowles@gmail.com
