my father in law just bought a used boat that has a PinPoint 3700 trolling motor on it. Anyone has any information on this motor? There is precious little info on the web...other than they were bought out by MotorGuide
They are nice - when they work. And there are only 3 places in the US that works on them. Sorry, I can't say anything good about them. I sent one in 3 times ($80 shipping each time) and each time it come back with a different problem.

well I found alot of complaints online, but little else...I was hoping to ask around and find out if all the complaints were warranted...or just typical online gripes.
