piston pin bearings?

rebuilding my 85 30 evinrude and was wondering how to install all those tiny roller in the piston pin ,there is no case im thinking grease wil do most likely but what kind?im still waiting for my omc manual to come in the mail from ebay,so any input would be great.thanks

Almost any grease that will hold the needles in place during assembly will do. It will be gone in a few seconds after the first run.

Hurry though rumors say it may not be manufactured any more.

I have even hear vasoline. I just did mine and the needles have enough grease on them to hold them in place. Keep the cardboard attached and just roll/wrap the needles around the wrist pin.
