Ok so I have to replace all the Pistons on my 1981 150 Evinrude so what does everyone recommend and how much should they be worth?

Re: Pistons So here's the Debate

depends on the cyl bore finish and cyl clearence
from what i was told i had my machinst supply my piston
to go with the bore setup and clearences .
ended up useing brp pistons .
but had i had to bore over 040
i would have had to use wiesco which my machnist told me took different
bore finishing to get clearence needed to run them safely.
basicly leave it to your machinst
i have 4 low hour 03o pistons mint lost two to overheat
so if you bore 030 you can have these they were low hour 30 hrs
on the rods also mint crank upper bearing /heads freshly surfaced
i will hook you up with this stuff if ya need it pistons are high
so if you go 030 you woul only need two pistons and ring set
get with faztbullet again he has some good prices talk to him about your machine work and witch pistons he likes he can probaly get ya two to match mine and partial rebuild kit you may save some money since it cost 70 to80
dollars a piston it might be worthyour while if ya bore all cyls to 030
other than that have your mach, ist check all your stuff you may only need one hole done ,they will let you know
