Just picked us a Javelin 400SDC..19'10" It has a 10" Jack plate already on...its set in the 3rd hole..so I can only go up one more slot..It has a 25 Raker on it now...I havent put it in the water yet, but should this be enough prop? I had a 24 Raker on my 18' Charger with a Johnson GT150..I was getting 71mph at 6000rpm with it..Also, what it Max RPM for the 200 Venom? I think it should say on the power pack?

Re: Pitch for 200 Venom

Raker's are even numbered...22, 24, 26, etc...
You have a bit more boat with a little bit more HP...likely a good starting point will be the same pitch, remember, that's just the STARTING point. Get some numbers with a known prop and we can adjust as needed.
My Tourney rig (519) with a 200HO will only get 67gps...71 is flat flying with a GT150 on an 18-6.

Geesh, I must be getting old..I didnt even snap to that 9 even numbers)..went and looked again, but it has 14 1/2 x 25 stamped on it, but you can tell the 5 has been stamped in as its not raised like the rest so the prop has been worked somewhere...but the part number is 394755 which is a 24 Raker..I have a true 24 raker on the charger, so I will bring is along and try as I just had it all fixed up at coastal prop in bridge city..I just thought with a 200hp that a 24 or 25 would not be enough prop...And I dont think the GT150 on my charger is all "factory" ...I was surprised when I looked at the gps..was hard to see as it was pulling the water out of my eyes lol..I think that boat is actually 17'10" tho..

TY for the info..I will run it this weekend and see how she does, dont have gps on it yet, but thats coming soon

Good deal...post back with your results and we can make some judgements from there..
BTW, that GT150 is a std 200 block (ports/timing), a bit different size carbs but just barely. The heads are just a tad different than the std 150 as well...great engine, and a ton of'em still around. That's one on the back of the boat in my avatar....one of the faster deep-V's around...a bit "too" fast in-fact.

p.s. Mark Croxton is working some 24 Rakers and redesignating them as 25's...usually very good with the stamping though...if it's a Croxton it's a good one.
