I am looking to gather up all the needed materials and tools for my 1992 excel floor removal and replacement. Hoping someone can lend some input on where to find a local distributor for fiberglass products such as fiberglass roller, resin and mat. Also this being my first project suggestions on weight and brand would be a great help aswell or what to look for. i have read through a bunch of forums and it seems everyone is using somthing a little different.

thanks

Fair warning, they're real proud of what they sell.

I bought my glass from a seller on eBay who sells slightly irregular lots. When the resin wets it out, any defects (which were few) disappear with the rest of the glass. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again.

My resin, fillers and rollers came from US Composites. Good stuff and very reasonably priced. Lots of us use them.

I bought my paint from West Marine, then went across the road to Boaters World and found that I could have saved $20 on 4 quarts of primer if I'd bought it there.

If you have time like some of us, just shop around during the winter months. It took me a while to get everything I needed, but I saved a lot of money.

Get your resin, primer, and paint when you're ready to use it so it'll be fresh.
