There are what we're green berries that recently turned like blueberries. Nothing about this is Peppermint, not ever the scent of the leaves. Anyone know what this is??? Charlie

I have no idea ... I was thinking peppermint tea until I saw the berries. I am clueless.

You can use this app to get a better idea. Since it's a store bought seed, and most likely imported, I don't think the location field will help very much. Take clear pictures of both sides of the leaves, the stem, and the berry clusters. Flowers are often some of the best means of identification, I think.

There is also an iNaturalist forum if you are interested in this stuff.

Now it's got what look like blueberries. See pic. Still can't figure out what seeds were in the peppermint seed envelope

Google says it's eastern black nightshade or european black nightshade. Eat some of the leaves, hopefully don't die, and then sue Ferry-Morse, then profit!
