Plastic speedometer fitting replacement question

I have a Volvo Penta 5.7 GI and the plastic fitting for the speedometer in the lower unit that connect to the flex flex tubing broke off. This is the white 90 degree swivel fitting in the lower unit. How do you remove it for replacement? I can turn it all around but don't wont to force it without some advice. Thanks.

I can't give any information or even a meaningful directions because I've never owned such a setup. BUT, you could buy an after market pitot pickup and use that instead.

This is a picture of such a pickup assembly. The tubing fits on the little ribbed section on the right hand section and goes to your speedomater... JMHO!
