Great News for Michigan. Platinum Equity Group announced today that Glastron along with Wellcraft will be moving to Cadillac, Michigan to join with Four Winns and it will become the world's largest boat builder. They have already called back 100 employees and plan to hire an additional 2,000 soon.
This is Great News for Northern Michigan.

I think this was released to the news a little while ago, as well as they plan to uphold all current warranties. Which is also very good news...specially for me!

I purchased our boat about three weeks before they announced chapt. 11.

Yes it was announced this afternoon. I saw it on our 5:00 news. I live about 60 miles from Cadillac. And yes Platinum Equity said they will honor all warranties.
