If I was interested in putting an outboard on a boat that is an ib/ob, could I just use seacast to fill in the hole, or would that not work? Thanks for the help.

Not trying to be rude, but, Do a search (on this board and goggle) on converting an i/o to outboard (or simmiliar wording) and you will find MORE than a lot of info. on this, from the basic backyard "get me on the water I don't care what it looks like" swap, to making the boat look like it was built for an outboard.

Heres one to get you started.

Unless you are pretty well versed in fiberglass I don't know that I would get into this, as stated a ton of people have done or ask about and they may be able to talk you though it but it isn't as easy as filling the hole.

Do the search and you will probably find more than you woud want to know.

Most posters who have done this were not satisfied with the results due to changes in balance and the resulting poor handling. Use the Search and check for yourself.
