Hey, no cause for worry anymore.

Cheney just said yesterday on CNN that we are making great progress in Iraq, and that everything is going great!

I feel better already!

Here maybe this will help crunch.

Quote
During the Senate Democratic leadership team's weekly briefing with reporters, Durbin cited a television interview from a day earlier in which Cheney told CNN "there's been a lot of success" in Iraq and rejected the idea that the situation was beyond control.

What's the matter with all of you, of course everything is wonderful now, they all agree with the President. Were you not watching the other night!! The President, the Democrats , the Republicans and the Madame of the house, all cheerful, happy, clapping and giving the President a standing ovation from time to time. The President even announcing the 1st madame of the house with a smile and a hand shake and probably a cigar later that nite. 8) 8)

No, (I'm well taken care of), actually Rubber's gas makes me a li'l nutty, (almost like a Lib). I just said that for fun, but I actually don't find Nancy Galore an unatractive lady. She is clearly smart, ackomplished, and I admire her, (don't agree with her at all). Don't share that opinion about some of the other gals we hammer on here. JR ps sometimes it is hard for me not to say some questionable things in a sporting way

Here you go, Crunch. Click on the link in the story that says "read the transcript" from
Wolf Blitzer's situation room

http://www.cnn.com/2007/POLITICS/01/25/cheney/index.html

I admit I paraphrased a bit, but I got his tone and point right.

Wolf Blitzer may be an idiot, but that Cheney is one delusional dude!

Paraphrased a bit?!?! You re-wrote what he said.

Show me one sentence attributed to Cheney that even comes close to your distortion... not something like "There's problems -- ongoing problems. But we have, in fact, accomplished our objectives of getting rid of the old regime, and there is a new regime in place that's been there for less than a year, far too soon for you guys to write them off."

He added, "We still have more work to do to get a handle on the security situation, and the president's put a plan in place to do that."
or "The world is much safer today because of it," Cheney said. "There have been three national elections in Iraq. There's a democracy established there, a constitution, a new democratically elected government.

"Saddam has been brought to justice and executed, his sons are dead, his government is gone. And the world is better off for it," he said.

Show me anything along the line of "we are making great progress in Iraq, and that everything is going great!" in his statements, or admit you were distorting the truth for your own political ends.
