Please explain this Flying Scott to me!

Yes I ordered the same set for my 1968 75 hp mcculloch pretty complete. You can call and talk to him to he is a nice guy can explain everything in the kit.

Took the head off today, as well as disassembled most the sections in preparation for powdercoating. It's all getting done except the prop and the adapter plate which are just getting blasted. I still have to take the tilting mechanism off the transom.
Here are a few pics with the cylinder head removed. I managed to break 3 bolts off...technically 4 but one was stuck in the head and after about an hour work and some moderate drilling I was able to get the head off by unscrewing it still stuck in there.

Put up a pick of the boat kinda rare and mcculloch was the first to offer a boat motor combo so kind of a cool find

I am tagging along your thread because I did a lot of skiing behind a Flying Scott when I was a pup. Glad you decided to repair that great old motor. Cool looking boat. Good luck!

Thanks. I have all the white pieces at the powder coater now and the head and block at the shop getting the broken off bolts fixed. I hope he can repair them all, failure here is not an option.
I also have the gasket set and new impeller coming in the mail.
More to follow as I get it all back together.
