Please help, 1990/1993 Evinrude V4 140 hose location

Hey everyone, I am back getting the what I thought was a 1990, but turns out its has a 1993/1994 powerhead, 1990 mid and lower, Evinrude V4 140.

The problem is I am not sure where this hose goes, it is connected with the tell tale or the "pissing" tube where the cooling water exits the engine, I have attached pictures in hope that someone has the knowledge to pass onto me, thank you in advance.

I believe that hose does NOT go anywhere .------It just lays in the cowling !!

Thank you so much for your reply, I was thinking that it may just hang out in the cowling because even in the parts diagram it doesn't show a location

Correct it is called a ---" Drain system "----Hence the notches on the end of the hose.-------Syphons water out of the lower cowling if it should ever become flooded.
