I have an old outboard motor that I am tinkering with. I had it running ten years ago but the float crumbled so it's been in storage ever since. I would like to restore it for fun as it's in very nice shape. I can't find a name anywhere on it but did find the following numbers: serial # 776139 and Model # TD20. It is all green with a white shroud, has no neutral, the rope has to be wrapped around the flywheel, the fuel tank is on top. It is small, probably only a couple of horsepower. I would guess that it's from the 50's or 60's. I don't know where to begin in identifying the engine so I can get parts to restore it. Thanks for any help!

I'm pretty sure you've got a Johnson 5HP manufactured between 1946-1949.<br />Backlash
