Hi everyone,
We just bought our very first boat; it is a 14’ Valco, and an old one at that. She is too old to have a standardized HIN, and she is built with rivets instead of welds. I’m pretty sure somebody ripped the old nose cap off, and I know they tore out the console. All the old hardware was still on the transom and the console remains still riveted to the sides. She has a transom width 56-7”x15.5”, beam of 65-66”, length 14’.
As an aside, does anybody know how Valco used to serial their boats pre-‘72? I just found the hull number today after winning a battle against Flex Seal.
