I am considering a 55 hp evinrude, 3 cylinder motor; but the owner lives 150 miles from the boat. He knows nothing about it, all he knows is that it is a 55hp evinrude and it looks like a dark grey color to me in the pics. Anyone have any idea how old this motor might be, looks like maybe early 90's? It looks newer than my 1983 and I don't know how long they made the 83' style, maybe this is the next style after that. Also wondering if the 3 cyl would have any noticable power upgrade from my 1983 50hp johnson 2 cylinder?
