All I know is that it is aluminium from russia, 12m x 3.8m, maybe military, single diesel engine about 50hps. Thanks for help.

Welcome to iboats espadon, i have never seen anyone stump the guys here but you may be the first.
How did you come into a Russian trawler?
Interesting boat, certainly looks military, seems to be built like a tank.
You would think a boat that big would have a plate on it somewhere with all the info on it.

Hang on maybe someone will suprise me and know what it is.
Maybe do a google on Russian military boats?

well,its obviously Russian , and its definitely military , my guess would be a 1983 vlammerputski class, guided missile cruiser...well camouflaged,of course.
Absolutely no clue, but she looks sturdy , nice find.

Thanks for trying. I'm thinking buying it but the owner doesn't know much about it. I try to find anything about vlammerputski but was in vain. I hope that evantualy I'll find out something. Can you guess the value of it?

As far as value, that is going to be a tough one. I am assuming you are in the USA with the questions you are asking, but I could be wrong, so that is the first question ... where is this rig? Secondly, what condition is the engine? Good compression? How does she run? Is there an hour guage on her? What all is inside the cabin?

If it is in the US, then there is really nothing to compare, so you are not going to get a "Value" for her. So the value becomes where a seller and buyer agree. How badly you want it verses how badly they want to sell it. I doubt there is any collection value to it, but it is novel, and could be of good use.

How is that for being vague? But more information is needed.
