evening every one, trying to track down parts for this leg but the numbers are coming up short
#A391453, this is all the numbers on the serial tag, and the numbers on the bottom of the leg have been sand blasted off by the looks of things.
1985 270 sundancer twin merc 260 alpha legs #A391453?
thanks

Re: please help with the leg ID

good mornin bondo-
thanks for input, trying to track down drive bellows which are a common number for all the alphas, but for some reason when I went to look up the serial number the closest number I could find was 0A4#####?.
just a little confused why I could not find any serial numbers lower with the
A and 6 digits.

Re: please help with the leg ID

You have an MR, not an Alpha. The actual Alpha name did not start till SN 0A47XXXX,
Mercruisers 85 outdrive was the MR, in 86 it changed to Alpha I.

Not sure why you are having problems, the OEM parts catalog is the same for the R, MR, and Alpha I drives from 83 thru 90.
What exactly are you looking for?
