would you or anyone know wich ports the water exits after it goes thru the thermostat , it seems that the pee hole flows constant while the ports on the housing will start to flow after a minute or so. was wondering if that is correct ? looking at the flow diagram i have looks like the water would not come out pee hole til after the thermostat opened but maybe i am wrong
great i did not know because it never had a thermostat in it all i know is pee hole flows right away while the two ports on housing flow later after running a bit
90 lbs is on the low side but OK so long as both cylinders are close to each other (I have a 1975 9.9 & it has 105 lbs). The low reading may be that the gage reads low so you might check with another gage.

Time for a deacrb if you have not done one recently.

Last thing - OMC engines don't like to run cold. Put a t-stat in.
The decarb is suposed to remove carbon deposits, as for the best way there are some psts that deal with this topic in the engine FAQ section on the forum home page
