I have a 21' cajun, had a 150 johnson fast strike on it with a 14 1/2 X 19 prop on it, ran 44 mph with 3 people and 20-30 gals of fuel. I recently got a 175 hp fast strike it came with a 14 3/4 x 17 prop on it, I have not tested it yet, I was wondering if larger dia. will compensate for smaller pitch, as far as hole shot and top end speed. I would appreciate any of you guys knowledge! Thanks (I forgot to mention it is a center console bay boat 2100 fisherman)

Nope,... Welcome Aboard,....

With Outboards, 'n I/Os, diameter is pretty irrevelant, as the designing engineers take care of it, according to pitch, 'n blade design...

Shop for Pitch, diameter will figure itself out....

I'm guessin' the bigger prop off yer old motor might be close to what ya need...
Smaller prop, on a Bigger motor, otta Rev to the Moon, 'n git Nowhere, Slowly....
