guys,<br /><br />have a 1990 V6 mercruiser (bayliner capri).<br /><br />i bought the clymer manual and as you all warned me, it stinks.<br /><br />is seloc any good?<br /><br />any other reccomendations or websites for where to purchase the actual shop manual?<br /><br />thank you in advance,<br /><br />david

Just buy a manual from Mercury the others are just toilet paper you can find merc. manuals on ebay once in awhile

Here's the 1 for your Engine,..................... <br />If you know your way around a web-based pdf. You can find your Outdrive manual There as well.....

You need manual #7 PN 90-12410 for your engine, the link Bondo gave you is for a 93 and newer engine with a balance shaft.<br />You need manual #6 for your outdrive.<br />Here is a link to #6, just move your cursor over the cover and index page and click on the links to the different sections.<br />Some are fairly large files and will take a while to open.<br /><br /> http://www.boatfix.com/merc/Servmanl/6/6covr3.pdf

I've got a #6 Mercruiser manual that I bought with some stuff at an auction sale. It doesn't work for my boat so I'd make someone a deal on it. It's pretty new so you'd have to add the greasy fingerprints yourself.
