I had a couple of questions about a 1980 351 Pleasure Craft inboard that is in a Ski Supreme i just purchsed. The boat runs awesome, but it has a bit of trouble idling and it dies when going into gear about 50% of the time. When it does run, it is a very fast boat. It has a Holley 4 barrel carb on it that reallly helps out. <br /><br />The first question I have is, I was going to start with the points, condensor, rotor and cap, just because that was problem with my old Merc 120.<br /><br />The second question I have is can I just go to the local auto parts store to get the parts or do I need to get them from West Marine. <br /><br />Any thoughts on this are appreciated.<br /><br />Thanks
