Plug assembly

hello,
i noticed yesterday that i was taking in water from the drain plug assembly. my qestiions are: what silicone do i use and how long will it take for it to dry?

Welcome to iBoats!
When you say, "taking in water from the drain plug assembly" do you mean water is coming in from OUTSIDE of the assembly, or from the Plug inside of the tube? If it is Outside then you have a BIG problem. This is an indicator that the transom has serious water intrusion issues and this will continue to cause weaking of the transom and could cause catastrophic failure of the boat. You need to make a SERIOUS investigation as to what is causing this issue and do the CORRECT repairs.

Agree with both of the above posters. I'd use 3M 5200 and I'd make sure I wasn't sealing in a bunch of water that was going to rot my transom.
