CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT THE TORQUE TIGHTENING SPEC. FOR A CHAMPION UL18V PLUG ( I THINK THATS THE RIGHT NUMBER)???<br /> THANKS

Howdy, SWAINDE. Never used a torque wrench on plugs. Maybe I should have.<br /><br />With new gaskets: Finger Tight plus 1/4 turn.<br />With used gaskets: F.T. plus 1/8 turn.<br /><br />Dhadley is sure to show up with exact torque specs, so I will wait and learn something with you.<br /><br />Red sky at night. . . <br />JB

Tapered seat plugs: Finger tight, then 1/16th of a turn to tighten.<br />Gasketed plugs: Finger tight, then 1/4 to 5/8 of a turn. If reinstalled, 1/4 turn. That's straight from the plug manual. Hope it helps!
