plug wire boots

I've got a 72 mercury 1150, need to know the procedure for installing the plug side of wire back into the boot, thanks Jason

Once the connector is pushed thru the wire spray the end and boot with silicone and it should push on quite easily.

okay, I stripped back 3/8 to 1/2 inch of wire and then I just push it in? that's it?

No, the spring end goes on the end of the wire and is held on by the piercing point going through the wire at a right angle then sprayed and installed in the boot as assembly.

done, I hooked a meter up to test continuity and found #2 and #4 were not making a connection at all, I couldn't even get continuity from any plugs to the inside of the cap, cleaned everything up and now everythings looking good, thanks, Jason
