plug wire??

This might be a stupid question. Can i use plug wires ment for vehicles as if i were to go to autozone and buy 6-6inch wires or are marine wires different. 88 evinrude xp 150

It would work but I don't know how well, marine stuff is different and they are sealed where the build it yourself ones aren't.

If you are in a hurry Napa also carries Sierra parts btu it is always good to support iboats when you can.

Normally auto plug wires are a radio supressor material, usually a powder. OB plug wires are solid, stranded wire, usually stainless steel

I would not recommend you substitute

Sure you can substitute, but they won't work. They need solid core wire.

actualy, you can get solid core wire from hi-perf parts dept. I used them on one of my souped up cars. The draw back is radio noise.

Napa sells solid wire by the foot.

Thanks guys im going to get a set from iboats. iboats seems to be cheaper then anywhere else ive looked besides the occasional ebay finds.
