Plywood Hull Restoration

Hello, new to this forum and thought I'd ask for some help/advise. I picked up a nice little wooden homebuilt(?) project boat and would like to breath life back into it. It's a fiberglass covered plywood hull built on sawn frames. I haven't found any identiying markings and for now am assuming that it was homebuilt sometime in the late 50's, early 60's maybe. Anyone recognize this style boat?

The boat is rather dried out and weathered but overall appears to be in pretty good shape. Some delamination of the glass/ply and some plywood delam apparent along the top of the sides where they meet the bow. Inside frames and other structural elements appear to be in very good shape.

First step is to flip it over and start to remove the fiberglass. I'm hoping the plywood repairs will be minimal. Any suggestions on how to replace pieces of the plywood? Scarfing in sections seems like a tricky process. Is there an easy way?

I'll keep posting if there is interest. Thanks in advance for any information about this particular boat, or any suggestions on how to tackle it.

Nice looking design. Be interesting to see where you take it from here.
Always interesting to see an old boat recycled.

You said you were going to flip the boat over and start to remove the glass. Why are you going to remove the fiberglass? Is it too tight inside to get to the bad plywood or are you trying to fix the de-lam? By the way, nice looking boat from what I could see in the picture. I'd like to see bigger and more photos so I can help you better.

Since there are places where the fiberglass has come loose from the plywood, I plan to remove it all. Once the glass is off, I plan to repair/replace the plywood as needed. Then, I'd like to laminate some 1/8" thick mahogany over the repaired/epoxied plywood.
