Does the Hurricane Deck boat have any plywood in it? I know rotting wood was a problem in old deck boats. Didn't know if the new ones have any wood in them at all?
Should not be a problem, Godfrey does a good job fiberglassing in stringers, and deck. They also use marine grade treated plywood. If you or previous owner takes care of the boat it should last a long time!
