would my 76 55 hp chrysler have points and condensers? just wondering as i have no spark coming out of bottom cylinder coil. also if there are points what is the gap? i do not have a book on this so i cannot look into it that way. thanks.

YEP! Both magneto ignition and battery and coil ignition have points and condensers.

Points need to be set at .020 gap open. work carefully. a difference of only .0015 between the two sets of points will make 1 degree difference in timing between the two cylinders.

thanks frank. now my net question is where the heck would i find a set up here? or could i bastardize an automotive set in there?
