Does anyone know where I can find points for a Mercury 9.8 110, serial #3737655? Thunderbolt ignition. I believe it is a 1973.

a web site like crowleymarine will have the part number. I would expect the points would be available at a lot of places. A search on the part number should turn up some choices.

I don't see points on the IPL. The flywheel IPL shows a breaker cam, but the ignition section does not show points. However the condensor is NLA.

If cleaning the points up won't do, hooking up a Nova II ignition module is worth a shot. They don't work long on OMC's but perhaps a Merc it might
