That would be less pitch= less slip= higher max rpm. More pitch=greater chance for slippage and lower max rpm.

Those numbers don't seem coreect to me. 42 MPH on a 22' foto toon with a 135 seems way off.

Well, I've no speedo yet, but here's what Boating World got....Exact same boat/motor/year....... 41+mph so I called it 42mph. He gives his speed test results around the 3:20 mark.
