pontoon boats (beachcat)

I recently purchased a beachcat 1996 and i had a question about the operation of the boat. As I accelerate the boat will go immediately into a plane but levels out just as quick, keeping the bow down.

Is this trait normal?

you could adjust the tilt pin out one or 2 hole to bring the bow up.
