Hey guys looking at installing some type of led lighting to illuminate my deck on my 26 ft sweet water. I was wondering if anyone has any good ideas.... My idea was to install some type of blue led strips along the
Floor/bottom of the seats but have not found anything while searching the web that seems usable... Thanks for the help as always...

One possibility is a cheap inverter and red rope lighting from Wallyworld or Home Depot.

You could also put deck lights in the seats but that would be more work. These lights are found at West Marine among other places.

Good luck and let us know your solution.

One of these placed every 4 feet or so on the bottom of the seat bases will really light up the deck. Easy to install and wire..

I wanted some light for the insides of the seat bases and installed one of these on the inside of each base and they're bright. So bright that they illuminate right through the plastic seat base.:)

You'll need to look to the recreational vehicle/ motor home suppliers for such lights. The biggest is CampingWorld.com.

Or go into any large recreational vehicle parts department for advice. They have catalogs with virtually any kind of 12 volt lighting you need.

natedog,
I just got some stickon LEDS powered by 2 AA batteries and stuck them at various places around my 24 footer. Works well and the batteries last longer than you think.

Re: Pontoon deck lighting?

I recently purchased and installed these blue LED's on our boat. They were purchased from Amazon.com: http://www.amazon.com/Truck-Flexibl...YIU6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1323181073&sr=8-1 There was 4 to the set. I only used three. I installed then on the front, back and left side of the console/helm, under a lip so they were pointing downward. These things are quite bright and would be very distracting if you had to look directly at them. The three provided plently of light for the toon.
