On to the worst part of project...old crusty decal removal
. Even worse than I thought it would be but finally making progress. I had my mind made up that I was going to do a vinyl wrap. For some reason on the front door the decals were so bad that when they came off with eraser wheel it also took most of the paint off. So I decided to just sand to bare metal. The paint was so this and old it sanded off easy to a very smooth finish. I taped it off and just used some black primer for metal since the vinyl wrap Iām using is black. After a couple coats it looked so good Iām wondering if I should just paint the whole thing. Pls let me know what you guys think. Below are just some pictures of the progress. Thanks!
