Re: pontoon prop?

I'm hoping to be able to take the boat out sometime in the next couple weeks. I'll check for a spun prop as soon as I can. When adjusting trim am I looking for highest speed/best performance at the lowest rpm? I'm locating a local prop shop. When you have a prop serviced do they repaint them as well? Should I check for the spun prop before getting it serviced or will they be able to check that at the prop shop?

Normally you would get the highest light load wot rpm and speed. Try to find a trim setting that the prop can keep its grip.
My experirnce has been pontoons tollerate little trim mostly done to find the best hook up for the prop.
you might have to be aware of the best placement of weight. fore and aft.
Prop shop can check the hub and the prop will appear new when its done.Ask them if they can add some cup or something to help improve the slip.
