Well after much research and advice from members of this forum I upgraded the prop on my 2011 Sweetwater 26 ft 115 yamaha. It originally came with a white propeller 3 blade that only had a single marking of "11k" on it.
I am only assuming that the pitch was an 11 based on this. My rpm range on the boat is 5000-6000. I was only getting 17.0 knots (19.5MPH) at rev limitor 6200 rpms with this prop. I purchased a 4 blade 13 pitch Solas and installed this past weekend. Wow, what a difference!!!! Way more responsive at the docks, better hole shot, and much improved top end. My top end is now 23.5 knots (27MPH) at full wat (5800 RPM). The best part is that i can cruise at 4000 RPM at 17.5 Knots and use half the gas if i desire.... Thanks again everyone for all the input.
