I AM LOOKING AT A NEW SWEETWATER 2086C PONTOON BOAT AND AM UNDECIDED ON WHETHER TO ORDER 25'' OR 27'' TOONS.THE BOAT WILL BE USED IN BAY WATERS NOT A LAKE AND DEPENDING ON BOAT TRAFFIC IT CAN GET ROUGH.i CURRENTLY HAVE A 20' PONTOON W/23'' TOONS AND IT TENDS TO BE A LITTLE WET SOMETIMES.AQNY SUGGESTIONS ON TOON SIZES WOULD BE HELPFUL.

Welcome. The bigger the better if it's not too pricey an up-grade. Post pics if you get it. Good luck !!!

Or you can do a tri toon conversion to your existing boat.

Bigger is better. More bouyancy and less chance of getting water on the deck.

I would go with the 27" toons. Thr tritoon conversion would not be advisable for your 23" toons, the 27" toons will ride higher and be better in the rougher water.

The tritoon in 25" tubes would be really sweet if the price is ok with your budget.

Thanks Everyone,I found a boat in stock with 25'' toons that I have been trying to sell myself on rather than ordering one with 27'' toons and possibly not getting it until later in season, you guys are right though I think 27'' are the way to go in the long run. Thanks Again
