What is the best type of pontoon to purchase. A toon with marine styro foam inside or a multi chambered pressurized one with 3-5 psi? What are the pro's and cons?

There is no best in anything, there is only opinion.

Go with the one that you like and serves your purpose's.
go to a dealer and stand on a few. aske them what they think and then form an opinion. Then when you get a few answers here you have more opinion.

And also, one that floats is a plus...

Biffle is right....... All boats are a compromise.....

All modern pontoons are very safe, so find a boat with the layout you like and don't worry about the pontoons.
