I had to use the porta-potty on the dock at the lake and I was in there for a good 3 minutes. These 2 guys saw this really cute girl walk by and I heard some of the commits being made about wanting to take her for a little ride.. Well a little more than that.. Then one of guys says don't look now, but here comes the wife. It was quiet as I was coming out, just grining at both of them. There eyes had that look of being busted, then I laughed and they started to turn and walk away.. Right into the girl as she was walking back and one guys walked into her chest, and the other tripped over both and somehow the guy that tripped landed in the small boat next to mine.. The wife and I were just laughing our heads off.. The girl however was pissed off, becuase her drink was all over her. What was even funnier the pretty girl had quite the potty mouth, when it came to expressing herself..Those guys were shocked and so was everyone else on the dock.. It was just to funny..

Barbara, you've got some great posts! Not even sure if I've read them all. Where do you go? Shasta? Whiskeytown? Sac. River? I go to Shasta a lot so if you are there, I want to approach with caution. I don't want to end up in one of your stories!

Bring it on... I like Shasta, but haven't gone this year. Whiskey Lake is really nice, but my boat was broken all season. I have been going to Black Butte and catching Big Mouth Bass and Catfish. I am suppose to fish the Sac. this week I hope.. The salmon are going quite well and my neighbor got a 40lb'er on Friday. I am about 3 hours from you.. Next weekend I am going down to Marin, San Rafael.. I will also be at China Camp on Saturday to say hi to freinds out there..I spent almost every weekend out there when I was a kid.. All fishing on the dock, and listening to old men talk about the one that got away.. Playing in sand and throwing rocks at the seagulls.. What a life...

I grew up in Fremont, CA. between Mowry and Stevenson on Blacow, Folsum Way. I have been going to Trinity Lake since I was 3 years old (1967). Haven't been there since I moved to Priest River ID though, but might go back next Spring/Summer for the Family Reunion at Shasta/Trinity.

Craig

I'm 41. The motor is a 1979 140 inline 6. We usually either stayed at Tannery Gultch or Hayward Flats. Trinity Lake is where I learned to water ski and drive the boat (Both at age 3).

That picture was taken at Priest Lake in North Idaho outrunning a Thunder Storm. I was able to get under the only covered morage on that end of the lake just as the hail and downpour started.
