im looking to buy a porta potty for my center console. what is the best brand out there?

Get one with a cutain, The only one I ever had came with the boat and was a pain in the butt to clean, and use. With a center C. boat, wouldnt a 5 gallon bucket work?


Them things (porta P's)slop around a bunch, might get messy. Smaller boats are rather rough too.

i thought about a bucket with toilet seat, just figured a portapotty would be less mess.

I bought this porta potty and it's worked out well. It's not a chemical or sealed unit, but it works well for boat and camping. The squatty design keeps it upright, though, that means it takes up more space. They have chemical packs you can buy for it, but I just line it with a kitchen garbage bag and a couple hand fulls of saw dust, another bag and a couple hand fulls of saw dust, etc, etc until we have 15-20 bags lining it. When someone "goes" they throw the bag inside and it's ready for the next use. Seems to work well.

It is battery operated and rinses the bowl well. That is why my wife likes it!

do you have one of these? if so how do you like it and does it leak? is it sturdy enough to put a cushion on and sit on it like i do with my cooler when not in use?
