portable bait tank

i live on a lake in texas where the striper fishing is good. Well I own a bass boat and the livewells in it just dont do well with shad. Shad tend to get to the corners and get the red nose syndrome and die very easilly.

I was just wondering if anyone has built a successful bait tank...I would prefer it to be portable.

thanks

I know nothing about shad, but it would seem that if they get stuck in the corners you need something round. Could you take a piece of lexan or plastic, cut it the hieght of your live well and long enough to to put it inside and form an oval in the square tank. Could be removed easy if needed.

there are plenty of premade round live wells, you just set on the deck. off shore guys use them all the time. igloo water cooler, with a pump.

Well I took the pictures, but can't find the link I read once on how to post them. None of my normal tricks worked. Maybe Tashdaddy or someone will steer me in right direction.

Thanks in advance
