portable garage storage for boat

just wondering if a dome canopy type storage or other will hold up to snow and weather like they claim to? i am thinking of getting a dome 10x24 for my 19 ft boat but not sure how or if they woild hold up in maine winter weather?any brand suggestions or info would be great, thanks..

Mine's going on year 4.

You do have to shovel the snow that slides off away from it if you don't want it to flood when it warms up.

thanks for the reply and photo, the canopy will be used for a trailer and boat which sits off the ground far enough but have you had any trouble with the sliding off snow leaning against the bottom off the canopy?someone told me when the snow slides off it will cave into the sides near the bottom..again thanks for any help..

Bought my 24x8x10 @ TSC and it's going on 5 yrs now not domed but everything runs off it just fine.

just be careful with any accumulation that might happen. I read about one guy who died in Quebec a few years ago . took a broom and started poking the snow from inside to get it to slide off. whole thing caved in on him.

That's my '18 Celebrity in my boat garage. I purchased mine used and have had it for 6 years now. If the snow gets over a foot thick, I use a push broom to clear it off .

We've had 60+ mph winds here and it's held up fine. We wash the outside every year to keep the tree dirt off it.
