I'm going to make this a generic engine question, in hopes of more responses. Besides, I don't think the specific engine info would have much to do with it.
What are possible causes for air build-up in a fuel line/system? Or, what are possible causes for a vacuum being created in a fuel line/system?
I'm bogging and dying after hitting rough water. I've found that when I open the fuel water separator, air is either being pushed out, or sucked in, then fuel flows out, and the engine will start up and carry on like nothing happened.
