possible cavitation issue

It seems that when adjusting trim up to much at high speeds I lose power ...I can hear the motor sound like it is spinning or something. If I only adjust trim a little it is ok. Is this normal<br />or maybe cavitation?

Its normal and its called ventilation. You can blow the motor up if this gets to excessive so dont trim it to high.
